Important Welding Notice

Copper is much harder to spot weld than nickel, especially at 0.3mm thickness.

  • Requires a high-power spot welder, such as a capacitor discharge welder (CD welder), to achieve strong welds.
  • For easier welding, use in a copper-nickel sandwich, where nickel is welded to the battery, and copper is welded to the nickel.
  • Not recommended for low-power welders, as improper welding may result in weak connections or poor conductivity.
