6S2P 21700 Battery Kit
Build a 6-series, 2-parallel 21700 lithium-ion pack using a purpose-matched tray and precision battery-building materials. Choose the kit only or add one of the listed cell models. A cell-inclusive selection contains 12 cells total.
Choose Your Configuration
- Kit only - no cells: battery-building hardware without cells.
- Cell option: adds 12 cells of the selected model and links those cells directly to Shopify inventory.
- 0.2mm copper + 12 AWG: lighter build option.
- 0.3mm copper + 10 AWG: heavier-conductor option for builders prioritizing lower conductor resistance.
Images are illustrative: the renders show an example pack with cells installed so you can see the busbar orientation. Kit-only variants do not include cells. Cell-inclusive variants add the 21700 cells named in the selected option.
Kit Contents
- Custom lightweight 6S2P tray for 12 21700 cells
- Precision laser-cut copper busbar set for the selected build option
- Slotted stainless-steel overlays matched to the copper busbars; both layers have centered 0.8 mm × 7 mm weld slits. The stainless-steel outer layer makes the copper sandwich easier to spot weld and helps protect it from corrosion.
- Two 6-inch bare-end power leads in the selected 12 AWG or 10 AWG cable option
- Transparent PVC cover
- Printed busbar orientation instructions
- One 6S JST balance lead (7 pins), for use only with a compatible smart balance charger
- Selected cells only when a cell-inclusive option is chosen
The JST connector is for a compatible smart balance charger only. Verify its pinout and cell count before connecting. It is not a BMS or protection device. No BMS is included.
This is an unassembled DIY battery-building kit, not a finished battery pack. Spot welding, insulation, protection and fusing selection, balance-lead pinout verification, pack validation, and final enclosure are the builder's responsibility.
Important Electrical Guidance
Pack capability depends on the selected cells, weld quality, current sharing, conductor geometry, BMS limits, fusing, cooling, and the completed pack design. Manufacturer data-sheet maximum ratings are limits, not automatic recommendations for continuous pack operation. Design with appropriate current and thermal headroom.
Safety Warning
Use only new, matched cells in a properly engineered pack. Insulate all conductive layers, protect against shorts and abrasion, use correctly rated BMS and fusing, verify polarity before welding, and monitor cell voltage and temperature during assembly and testing. Lithium-ion cells can vent, ignite, or cause serious injury if shorted, crushed, punctured, overheated, overcharged, over-discharged, or assembled incorrectly. Intended for experienced battery builders.
Orders ship from Florida when inventory is available. Lithium-ion cells require proper handling, protected packs, correct chargers, and safe storage. Do not solder directly to battery terminals.

Wow, these cells are great!
I purchased some of these tabless cells to try on my 1S 3" HD Toothpick drone build, and, albeit a bit heavy for 1S, it flies pretty well. Not a freestyle monster, but an endurance beast with decent send. These cells shrug off the demands of a BETAFPV Matrix HD AIO flight controller/12A ESC and some 1202.5 11000KV motors. I'm getting 15+ minutes of speedy flight time from a single cell trying not to go below 3.2V, and about 20+ minutes cruising. Love these cells and will definitely buy more when time comes, only from DIY500AMP, who are terrific!
