This listing is for a brand new replacement battery case and PCB assembly designed for building or repairing a Milwaukee 18V style battery pack using 15 x 21700 lithium-ion cells.

Please note: this is not an original Milwaukee product, and no battery cells are included.

Important: this shell is designed for 21700 lithium-ion cells only. It is not compatible with 18650 cells.

Preparation Before Assembly

If using new cells:

• Use only 21700 high-power lithium-ion cells
• All 15 cells should be of the same model, same specifications, and similar internal resistance
• Before assembly, make sure the voltage of all cells is matched

If repairing an old battery pack:

• Check the voltage of each individual cell first
• If the voltages are different, charge the cells individually until they reach the same voltage level

Very Important: before welding the PCB, make sure every cell has the same voltage.

Assembly Guidelines

• Use only 21700 power lithium-ion cells with low internal resistance
• Use cells of the same brand, same model, and same parameters
• Do not use general-purpose or energy storage lithium cells for this build
• Pre-test each cell before assembly
• Bring all cells to the same voltage before connecting and welding
