⚠️ Safety Warning for Lithium-Ion Battery Usage
This cell is a rechargeable lithium-ion battery. Mishandling, short-circuiting, overheating, overcharging, puncture, crushing, or physical damage can cause fire, burns, or serious injury.
Murata specifies that this cell should be used in a properly engineered battery assembly or finished product with over-charge, over-discharge, over-current, over-temperature, and short-circuit protection. It is not intended for loose or unprotected standalone use.
Important Usage Guidelines:
- Use Only in a Properly Protected Battery Pack / Host Device
- Provide BMS / PCB Protection and Temperature Monitoring
- Spot Weld Only – Do Not Solder Directly to the Cell
- Do Not Use if Wrap, Terminal Insulator, or Can Is Damaged
- Prevent Shorts – Keep Away from Loose Metal Objects
- Do Not Overcharge, Over-Discharge, Crush, Puncture, Heat, or Burn
