Description
An eight-slot charging and testing station supplied with the XTAR PD45W U.S. wall adapter. The VC8S combines independent charging with capacity testing, storage mode and LCD status displays.
Features and compatibility
- Supports 3.6V/3.7V lithium-ion and 1.2V NiMH rechargeable cells, including eight protected 21700 cells. Supported cell length: 30–80mm.
- With suitable 45W PD input, lithium-ion charging configurations include 3A × 2, 2A × 4 or 1A × 8; lower 0.5A and 0.25A settings are available.
- USB-C input supports PD3.0 at 15V/3A and QC3.0 at 9V/2A, with 5V/2A input also supported.
- Capacity grading, storage mode and internal-resistance comparison help assess cells. Results depend on cell condition and test settings.

Battery safety
Use only the supported rechargeable chemistry and observe polarity. Check each cell's manufacturer charging limit before selecting a current; the charger's maximum is not a recommended rate for every cell. Do not charge damaged, leaking, swollen or overheated cells, or cells with damaged wrappers. Do not use disposable batteries, 1.5V lithium-ion cells or LiFePO4 cells. Charge on a nonflammable surface in a dry, ventilated area, away from children and combustible materials. Do not leave charging unattended. Stop use if a cell or charger becomes unusually hot.

Orders ship from Florida when inventory is available. Lithium-ion cells require proper handling, protected packs, correct chargers, and safe storage. Do not solder directly to battery terminals.

Wow, these cells are great!
I purchased some of these tabless cells to try on my 1S 3" HD Toothpick drone build, and, albeit a bit heavy for 1S, it flies pretty well. Not a freestyle monster, but an endurance beast with decent send. These cells shrug off the demands of a BETAFPV Matrix HD AIO flight controller/12A ESC and some 1202.5 11000KV motors. I'm getting 15+ minutes of speedy flight time from a single cell trying not to go below 3.2V, and about 20+ minutes cruising. Love these cells and will definitely buy more when time comes, only from DIY500AMP, who are terrific!
