Why Upgrade?
This kit was designed with the new Ampace JP30 in mind — the most powerful 18650 cell available today, capable of delivering 36A continuously per cell. The factory 0.2mm nickel and 16 AWG wires choke performance and limit the cell’s true potential.
By adding pure copper on top of the original nickel, you significantly increase ampacity and reduce resistance. Pair that with 12 AWG high-strand silicone wire, and your build is ready to handle serious current with minimal voltage drop and heat.
