At DIY500AMP.COM, we provide high-quality components for serious battery builders. This kit is made for users who already understand lithium-ion battery safety and have experience with spot welding and pack assembly. If you are new to battery building, this is not a beginner-friendly product.
What You Get
A complete Milwaukee-style M18 18V 6Ah plastic housing with a matching PCB/BMS protection board. You will need ten 18650 high-power lithium cells to complete your build. Cells are not included.
The included PCB is designed with important safety features:

Battery level lock on first power-up until the pack goes through a full charge and discharge cycle.

Charging indicator: red light means charging, green light means full.

Overcharge protection that stops charging when voltage limits are exceeded.

Overcharge recovery that resumes charging once voltage is back in a safe range.

Over-discharge protection that cuts output if voltage is too low.
-
Over-temperature protection during both charging and discharging, with automatic recovery when temperatures normalize.
Assembly Tips from Nelvick at DIY500AMP

Use only matched and balanced 18650 cells. All cells must have the same voltage before welding.

Recommended cells include EVE 25P, EVE 30P, Samsung 25R, Sony VTC5D, and the best option is Ampace JP30. This kit is a perfect match for Ampace JP30 cells, giving you excellent performance and durability.

Make clean and correct welds. A reversed connection will instantly damage the board.

Prevent the PCB from touching battery surfaces directly.

Work on a clean and dry surface while following anti-static precautions.

PCB and LED colors may vary depending on inventory. Colors may include blue, green, red, or white. Performance is always guaranteed.
Before You Start
If you are using new cells:

Choose only genuine high-drain 18650 power cells.

Balance all cells to the same voltage before welding.
If you are repairing an existing pack:

Test each cell and make sure voltages match before assembly.
Tip: If the pack does not output voltage after assembly, activate it with a dedicated charger.

Safety Reminder
Battery building requires skill and proper tools. If you are unsure of your abilities, work with someone experienced. Improper assembly can cause damage to the PCB, cells, or create safety risks.
It can fill 10 pieces of 18650 power Li-ion batteries, But this is plastic shell, there is no battery inside.
1. PCB Color: Blue, or white, or Green, or Red, etc. any color, PCB color and version number are different according to the actual latest inventory.
Preparation before assembly:
(1). If a new core is used, please note:
a. 18650 power lithium battery core must be selected,
b. A group of 5/10 cores must be equipped with resistance and capacitance to make their voltage the same.
(2). If the old battery is repaired, please test the voltage at both ends of each cell. If the voltage is different, please charge each cell to the same voltage value.
Very important:
Ensure that the voltage of each cell is the same before welding PCB.
